SEN motion passed

The LDEA sponsored special educational needs motion was passed today at the Spring Conference. One amendment was accepted; a second one defeated.

At the executive meeting the LDEA expressed delight at their success.

Andrew Bridgewater, author of the motion, thanked all those in the Party who had helped craft the motion, and was warmly appreciative of the help he received from Baroness Walmsley, the summator of the motion. Said Andrew: "We now have a distinctive policy in the area of support for child with special needs."
